Status:Available
The FA1A50N is a control IC for configuring a critical-mode power factor correction converter. It achieves low power consumption by using a high-voltage CMOS process. It also has a redundant overvoltage protection function and FB short-circuit protection circuit.
Features
- Capable of low standby power by disabling input voltage detection
- High-precision current detection: 0.6 V ± 2%
- Improves efficiency under light loads using a frequency reduction function
- Improves power factor correction by reducing dead angles when the input voltage waveform has a low phase angle
- Achieves low power consumption by using a high-voltage CMOS
- Startup of 100 μA (typ.), 0.8 mA (typ.) during operation
- Capable of directly driving power MOSFET, output peak current: source 0.5 A/sink 1 A
- VCC overvoltage protection function
- Built-in low voltage malfunction prevention circuit (ON: 17.3 V, OFF:9.6 V)
- Overload protection function
- Soft start function
- Restart timer
- LED lamp support (PFC flyback circuit support)
- Package: SOP-8
Applications
- Switching Power Supplies
- LED Lighting
