Critical conduction mode interleaved PFC control IC
-
Status:Available
FA1C20N is a power-factor correction converter IC operating in interleaved critical conduction mode. It achieves low power consumption by using a high-voltage CMOS process. It is equipped with many protection functions, such as an FB short-circuit detection circuit that stops operation when the feedback signal fails. In addition, it includes a coordination function with Fuji‘s current resonant control IC, the FA6CxxN series. It helps improve PSU efficiency when both ICs are used together.
Features
- Lower THD characteristics with a THD improvement function
- Improved light-load efficiency with burst mode operation and normal mode changes via an external signal from Fuji's FA6CxxN series current resonant control ICs
- Low current consumption by CMOS process
- Startup current 500μA(max.), Operating current 1.5mA(typ.)
- Direct drive of power MOSFETs
- OUT pin peak current: Source 0.3A, Sink 1A
- Various built-in protection functions
