Status:Available
The FA5696N is a control IC for configuring a critical-mode power factor correction converter. It achieves low power consumption by using a high-voltage CMOS process. It also has a redundant overvoltage protection function and output short-circuit protection circuit.
Features
- Capable of low standby power by disabling input voltage detection
- High-precision current detection: 0.6 V ± 5%
- Improves efficiency under light loads using a maximum frequency limiting function
- Prevents noise using a soft start and dynamic OVP circuit
- Achieves low power consumption by using a high-voltage CMOS
- Startup of 80 μA (max), 2 mA (typ) during operation
- Capable of directly driving power MOSFET, output peak current: source 1 A/sink 1 A
- Stops switching and protects output even when an abnormality occurs in the output voltage detection line by separating the FB pin and overvoltage detection pin
- Stops switching even when an abnormality occurs in the output voltage detection line using an FB short-circuit detection circuit
- Built-in low voltage malfunction prevention circuit (9.6 V ON/9 V OFF)
- Standby function
- Package: SOP-8
Applications
- Switching Power Supplies
