FA6A00N is a switching power supply control IC suitable for LLC current resonance circuits. It facilitates the design of switching power supplies for current resonant converters via a wide range of inputs worldwide. It also incorporates a startup element with an absolute maximum input voltage of 600 V, thereby contributing to circuit miniaturization and low power consumption.

- Enables configuration of single-converter LLC current resonant power supply systems via a wide range of inputs worldwide
- Built-in 600 V high-side and low-side drive circuits that can directly connect power MOSFETs, operating at 50% duty
- Built-in start-up circuit enables power supply circuit miniaturization and low power consumption
- Selectable between normal operation mode, low standby mode and ultra-low standby mode (STB pin)
- Reduces standby power consumption via burst operation in low standby mode
- Built-in input filter X capacitor discharge function that reduces loss due to discharge resistance
- Reduces IC current consumption to 0.9 mA during operation
- Prevents off-resonance and hard-switching by automatically setting dead time inside the IC
- Built-in protection against overcurrent (IS pin), overload (VW pin, FB pin), overvoltage (VH pin, VCC pin), and overheating
- Built-in fixed-level brown-in/out function (VH pin)
- Built-in power good signal output (PGS pin)
- Enables condition settings such as external latch stop, overcurrent protection (IS pin detection) delay time setting, operation setting in standby mode, and PFC availability setting (MODE pin)
- Built-in low-voltage malfunction prevention function (VCC pin, VB pin)
- Overcurrent protection operation: Timer latch
